He can predict the weather...I MEAN he describes the weather. On second thought, all Al Roker does is laugh at Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira's jokes. The Today Show weatherman dispels the myth that he is a Master Jam Maker, but confesses to a budding writing career.

For 30 plus years Joel Selvin was the music critic for the San Francisco Chronicle. Which means he is a walking/taking/breathing Bay Area music museum. Joel releases his favorite member of Journey, why Bob Dylan put an embargo on him and his feelings on blogs.
Our sales expert Chip Doyle gives us the scoop on selling during the holidays. If you're in sales and want a copy of the book Why Sales People Fail And What To Do About it the first 12 people to email him at chipd@sandler.com will get a free copy! Chip is a giver!
Employment lawyer Dennis Strazulo opening up the mail bag this week answering your questions. Can you be fired by your number one job if you won't quit your second job if your first job asks you to?
All that plus the top secrets from airline pilots. Cabin air is cleaner than your office air - boooooo Yah!
Transcription of the Al Roker interview provided by Tim and Lindsay Harrison:

LO: I love to know how people get their breaks. You were a very accomplished local weatherman inNew York, but you got a whole lot of exposure when you started doing these elevator races with David Letterman. Did you have any idea that that would sort of give you that much exposure?

Al Roker: Well you know it’s funny [laughs] this thing has kind of taken on a life of its own, in that, you know I was doing the weekend weather for The Today Show, I was doing the local weather in New York, and the fact is I got to do those a couple of times with David, but I don’t think that really had much to do with it. I think it was more I just started filling in a lot for Willard on The Today Show. I mean, there’s another thing. . .I think it was in Wikipedia, it also had that I’m master jam maker. [Larry laughing]. I don’t know where that came from. I like to jam, I like to eat jam. . .I don’t make jam. [Larry laughing]. Which is what I always preach to my children, I say “Just because it’s on the internet, doesn’t mean it’s true.”
